How We Give Back

Dr. Flores’ responsibility as an eye care professional and passion for accessible eye care extends beyond the 4 walls of the clinic. Since 2017, Dr. Flores has been an active volunteer for the Phillippine Medical Society of Northern California (PMSNC) and has joined them on their annual medical missions.

PMSNC is a non-profit organization of like-minded physicians, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists, nurses, therapists, technologists, students, and other medical and non-medical professionals devoted to bringing medical services to various locations in the Philippines.

In January 2020, Dr. Flores and her husband participated in a medical mission in their parents’ hometown of Cavite, Philippines, a humbling and rewarding experience for them both.

Clarity Optometry is happy to accept any donations of used glasses and sunglasses to add to our collection of eyewear we bring with us on these missions every January. Please contact us if you have a donation or questions.
